Holiday Sip and Savor Tour at Historic Shirley & Westover

Join the Carter’s and the Erda’s to celebrate the holidays in their historic 18th Century homes along the James River in Charles City, Virginia. They will each host a guided tour highlighting their home and property’s history, showcase their family decorations, and offer a sampling of wines from the neighboring vineyard, Upper Shirley, paired with a combination of savory and sweet hors d’oeuvres.

Must be 21 years or older to partake in wine tastings. Please be prepared to show a valid ID at both homes.

Space is limited. If the 3:30 PM tour is full, a 4:45 PM tour will be added.

For a 3:30 PM Tour: Check-in at the Shirley Gift Shop by 3:20 pm. The event begins at Shirley at 3:30 pm. Arrive to Historic Westover by 4:30 pm. You will provide your own transportation to reach each location. This is a rain or shine event.
